The do

French/Finnish pop duo The Dø toured the US for the first time in fall of 2009. Since then, their 2008 debut, A Mouthful, came out in the US on Six Degree Records, in April. They'll be back for a North American tour this September. That kicks off with a Sept. 7 show at Mercury Lounge. Tickets are on sale. They play the Bell House the night after (no advanced tickets listed. yet?).

Their songs are firmly in the pop sphere, but incorporate elements of jangly guitar, hip-hop collage and the occasional found sound, which you can check out in the videos below. All dates for their tour are below too...

Now people, that is exactly the type of informative comments I like to see on BV. having said that...Yes, I'd hit it.

Moreover, I kinda liked this music. I havnt listened to anything on six-degree since attaing level eight yuppie status (yes that is the highest) a few years back. I will check this out.
