interpol fitting in the space outside is going to be a SHITSHOW.

also, zinner's "exhibit" was shit (like 6 pictures with some instrumental music he did), and so was the XX "exhibit," which was just 3 video screens of the members playing. so so so so so lame.

Sounds like Interpol are being divas. Crowd waiting for a half hour already.

Posted by Anonymous | June 26, 2010 10:11 PM

^ huh? they played at 10 like they were supposed to.

Posted by Anonymous | June 27, 2010 12:03 AM

How long was Interpol's set? And did everyone get in or were people turned down?

Posted by Anonymous | June 27, 2010 12:15 AM

almost an hour to the minute. dunno, i didn't have any probs tho and i rolled up late (9)

Posted by Anonymous | June 27, 2010 12:20 AM

Titus Andronicus went on before the published 3:30 time and so I missed some of their set. That was annoying.

provacative photo

Posted by Anonymous | June 27, 2010 10:49 AM

Really 10:35? I thought they went on right at 330, at most it could have only been like 5-10 min earlier that they went on. It was a great set, although wish they were allowed to play a longer set, and wish the guitars were louder.

Posted by Anonymous | June 27, 2010 11:04 AM

titus went on about 3:20. i personally thought it sounded great. especially for a pop-up stage on a basketball court.

Posted by Anonymous | June 27, 2010 11:19 AM

omg! you guys! titus rocked! so omg! you guys, it's titus and they rocked my omg concept-album world. i only wish vivian girls and surfer blood and wavves and all the beachy, hazey, summer-y bands like omg! you guys titus had been there and omg you guys like titus they rocked!

Posted by Anonymous | June 27, 2010 1:19 PM

omg, shut the fuck up and get back in line for Pavement.

Posted by Anonymous | June 27, 2010 1:37 PM

Titus was great. They played a pretty short set as it was. It would have been nice to catch the 10 minutes of the set that I missed because they went on early. I would have been there earlier, but the nonexistent trolley at Bedford/7th wasn't there so I had to get back on the subway.

Posted by Anonymous | June 27, 2010 2:03 PM

Liars were awesome.

Posted by Anonymous | June 27, 2010 3:00 PM

1:19...I don't see how Titus is "beachy, hazy, summery," band. Nor do they sound like any of the bands you just compared them too...

Posted by Anonymous | June 27, 2010 3:10 PM

3:10- no, but i bet you love the beachy fuck out of those bands just like you're supposed to

Posted by Anonymous | June 27, 2010 3:37 PM

Oh *snap Mr.Cool Kid

Posted by Anonymous | June 27, 2010 3:42 PM

3:37 actually I love Titus but don't listen to a single other band up there you just named. I think Vivian Girls, and Wavves are awful, and truth be told I have never heard Surfer Blood so I can't judge. Man though, someone is really angry for no apparent reason.
