"Our car caught fire in Pennsylvania, destroying all of our gear, most of our cds and other merch, Riley and Marty's everything, Kay and Meghans clothes, and tons of electronics, gps, computers, cameras, video camera, recorder.That unfortunate message was posted Sunday by Colorado dream pop band Candy Claws who, as the message points out, are still on tour despite Saturday's car fire. Catch them in NYC tonight (7/13) at Pianos with We Are Country Mice or Wednesday at Glasslands with Pepper Rabbit who also play Thursday at Mercury Lounge with The Love Language.That's life though. Tour 2010!"

Candy Claws sucked last night. Not sure if one can chalk that up to borrowed equipment or the after-effects of living through a car fire, but yeah, it was awkwardly bad.
We Are Country Mice brought the rock and made the $8 cover worthwhile.

You all are very supportive. Way to be wonderful and nice. I can't believe how great people can be when our car catches on fire and all our stuff burns up. Darn, wish we could have gotten some of that stuff out. Too bad it was too dangerous. And too bad even though we got the car completely checked out before we left it still caught on fire. I love people. AKA every great wonderful nice caring sweet people who commented on this post. Way to be.

"these dudes..." these dudes car burned up along with all their equipment. that's fairly heavy. why some dudes gotta espress negativity? it's for real. it's unfortunate. if ya don't like their music, keep yur negativity to yurself. some don't like yur music either..... oh.... you don't have any?
