I wonder if they will play Epic?! I fucking love that song! :::meathead/bro chest bump:::

Posted by Anonymous | July 1, 2010 4:57 PM

Yeah! Those kids who just know that one song are such fucking morons! It's like when I go see Weezer man. All I want to hear is Pinkerton in full but it's only the hits. Boooooooo

Posted by Anonymous | July 1, 2010 5:10 PM

What is it??

Posted by Anonymous | July 1, 2010 5:28 PM

4:57- it's OK, high school is over now. That guy is no longer around to kick your a$$ and screw the girl you dream about.

Posted by Anonymous | July 1, 2010 5:42 PM

knew the 5th supposedly selling out within an hour or whatever was a total sham when the 2nd continued to have tickets available up until this very moment. fuck you ticketmaster and whoever put these shows on.

going to be amazing! FNM!!

Posted by Anonymous | July 1, 2010 9:35 PM

You wanna hear Epic? Guess it's safe to say you are a rock band player. Amazing song, but they have much better sh!t. Screw the posers! This is the best alternative metal experimental rock band and popularity is crap. FNM rule!

Heads up: The MTA is shutting down the L train from 5am Monday to 5am Tuesday. Good luck to anyone trying to get to the show. Luckily, I'm local.

I don't get it - I think of Vanilla ice when I hear/see them. Plastic soul...

& their cover of Reunited is ironic but truly awful. Fail.

Posted by Anonymous | July 2, 2010 3:40 AM

Steve Flack you are a liar!!!

Posted by Anonymous | July 2, 2010 7:28 AM

"You wanna hear Epic? Guess it's safe to say you are a rock band player. Amazing song, but they have much better sh!t. Screw the posers!"

It's called sarcasm. Look it up.

@ the 3:40AM commenter:

Live, yes, Mr. Patton and the band do not take themselves seriously and even mock their own lyrics and success, but if you listened to AngelDust, KFAD (written while divorcing), and songs like Pristina off AOTY, you shouldn't be able to deny the soul.

Hope your hangover doesn't hurt too much.

I hope they do "Epic"!

Set list from July 2 Brooklyn show:
main set:
Reunited
From out of nowhere
Land of sunshine
Caffeine
Evidence
Surprise! You’re Dead!
Last Cup of Sorrow
Cuckoo for caca
Easy
Midlife Crisis
The gentle art of making enemies
they played 2 songs here that i didn't recognize (sorry)
King for a day
Epic
Just a man

1st encore:
Chariots of fire
Ashes to ashes
Be aggressive

2nd encore:
We care a lot

Posted by Anonymous | July 2, 2010 11:24 PM

The two missing songs after 'Gentle Art' were:
Ashes to Ashes
I Started a Joke

The one after the Chariots of Fire theme was actually Stripsearch.

Plus it's worth noting that Mike Patton was actually beatboxing during that Chariots/Stripsearch transition. Wow.

Thanks for the set list. I'm way hot for the Monday show now. "Cuckoo for Caca" alone is worth the ticket price. Only waiting since '96 to see them again!

Posted by Anonymous | July 3, 2010 1:42 AM

@ginggerrox, thanks for the corrections, after i wrote the list, i felt like i had ashes to ashes wrong. i also left out that in the middle of midlife crisis, they broke into about 30 seconds of sir duke by stevie wonder.

Posted by Anonymous | July 3, 2010 9:10 AM

they sounded great last night and it's a very nice venue. i wish they had played a small victory, ricochet and digging the grave.

Posted by Anonymous | July 3, 2010 9:22 AM

Ew, they actually played Epic?

Posted by Anonymous | July 3, 2010 11:44 AM

Epic was Epic !

Posted by Anonymous | July 3, 2010 1:12 PM

Great show! I only wish they had played the Real Thing...

Posted by Anonymous | July 3, 2010 2:02 PM

Does anyone know if Rahzel will open for Monday's show?

Posted by Anonymous | July 3, 2010 3:32 PM

What time did FNM begin last night please?

Posted by Anonymous | July 3, 2010 9:53 PM

They started around 8pm.

Posted by Anonymous | July 3, 2010 10:21 PM

jesus anon 953. the answer to your stupid question is inches above your stupid question. read much limpdick?

Posted by Anonymous | July 3, 2010 10:22 PM

The mann show was off the fuckin hook.
Chinese arithmetic and evidence shut the shit down and killed it. Patton tore the fukkin roof off the mann center in philly last night.
