Golden Triangle
After Thee Oh sees played a Vice party (Thursday), South Steet Seaport Friday, and Rock Yard on Saturday, they completed their NYC stay with a hot and sweaty performance at the 'Bikini Bash' at Bed Stuy's Tip Top (432 Franklin Ave).
The party, were people were literally encouraged to wear bikinis (those in bathing suits paid $5 less) was produced by new party promotion company ABRACADBRA (of which photographer Rebecca Smeyne is a partner in). Golden Triangle (who also played the Seaport on Friday) and Frankie and the Outs (who have performed in bikinis before) were also on the Saturday night bill.

hilarious! i agree. i mean, really, if you're fucking deconstructing and reconstructing ala sonic youth, please, please keep using those instruments. if you're playing three chords then get yourself any other guitar. fucking posers.

The girl at the door, snottiest, most annoying voice ever, and a snotty, ugly attitude to go with it. It's still haunting me. I have never before wanted to punch someone in the face the instant they opened their mouth.
Also yes to jugs, and no to fat, drunk dude unplugging equipment and coming right back in the room after we dragged him out. Trying to drag him across the floor and out the door was like wrastling a greased pig.
