How do The Roots feel about White people?

Posted by Anonymous | July 12, 2010 12:59 AM

what with their being friends with Johnny Mayer and Jimmy James, i'd say their major fans of whitey. super whitey even.

"When we perform it's just coffee shop chicks and white dudes" - Common on Act too love of my life

Anyway, from what I could understand from being in the front row they played How I got over and Thought @ Work in the afternoon, then The Seed 2.0, You Got Me, The Next Movement, and some others (not in that order)

oh my god. whenever someone says "killed it" i die a little inside.

shut the fuck up you whiny annoying little boy or girl. what is more annoying, is people like you complaining over every little nuance out there. Nothing wrong with being a little cynical, but people like you take it to a new level. slow down man, slow down.

yea man, nickelback totally killed it last night :)

Posted by Anonymous | July 12, 2010 8:49 AM

super crowded but it was actually a lot of fun. I have seen the roots a good 10 times or so over the years and its fun to sit outside the fence and just enjoy the nice weather.

Posted by Anonymous | July 12, 2010 10:27 AM

I was riding my bike home to crown heights last night and happened to be riding up 9th then down prospect park west right after this ended and was wondering what band caused the thousands of people standing around in the bike lanes acting very drunk and very stupid, and made my ride home much less pleasant.

the roots are better on tv. plus i can turn it off when i am bored.

Posted by Anonymous | July 12, 2010 4:39 PM

after the next movement, there was the GnR cover, then I don't know what happened, then there was some confusion, then Nice n Smooth showed up and did Dwyck, Hip Hop Junkies, and a couple others, then the CB organizer asked them to turn the sound down, then we left.
