One record I am dying to hear? Without a doubt it’s KEN Mode‘s forthcoming LP for Profound Lore which the band will record in mid August with Kurt Ballou at God City! After witnessing the band’s destructive Unsane-meets-hardcore clobber the crowd at Union Pool, if even a touch of that live energy and crunch is captured on record it will surely be badass.
Luckily for Brooklyn, KEN Mode will loop down to Brooklyn to play The Acheron on August 17th on the way to God City alongside Castevet and more TBA! The show is just sixteen days after Castevet supports Altar of Plagues at The Studio at Webster Hall.
Speaking of Unsane, a reminder: the band will play all of their landmark Scattered Smothered & Covered at Santos on August 5th with Keelhaul, Pigs, and Disappearer. Tickets are still available.
