Slayer, live in Poland
Slayer

Though tickets are still available for their date at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ, the second leg of the American Carnage tour (Slayer + Megadeth) has been announced. That leg includes Nassau Coliseum on Oct 8th, and though tickets go on regular sale on July 23rd, they are currently on Live Nation presale through Thursday at 8PM. The password is "venue". Testament wont open the Nassau Coliseum show like they will at the Izod Center in August, but Anthrax will!

gak. megadeth. ugh, why does slayer have to tour with them?

Posted by Anonymous | July 21, 2010 11:09 AM

@11:09 cause if both bands tour by themselves they play large clubs, not arenas! all about the benjamins!

It's pretty sad that 3 of the big 4 can only play Nassau Coliseum half house. At the same end Metallica headlining by themselves sold out the same arena less then 2 years ago with a center stage full arena setup.

By the way for anyone shitting on Megadeth, run through the newest album endgame, really strong.

Fwiw, Joey Belladonna is back on board, too. Makes a big difference to me.

metal dads are into this. they drag their kids there looking bored until slayer plays when they mildly nod as to not let dad know that they think slayer rules. meanwhile dad is shithammered on coors wearing his ripped ratt tshirt checking out the divorced exstripper standing on her seat two rows ahead of you.

the rest of the crowd is teenagers and college kids who never quite crossed the threshold into "getting it", sprinkle in a couple of people who are into metal (you can tell cause, cool darkthrone shirt dude)

I love heavy metal sluts. Do you think there will be any here?

Posted by Anonymous | July 21, 2010 1:21 PM

Damn it! I missed the $7 tickets for NJ and now it looks like I missed the $7 tickets for NY! Anyone have any luck getting these?

Or does anyone know if they'll release more for the regular sale?

Posted by Anonymous | July 21, 2010 2:18 PM

Damn, so are the floor tickets for the Nassau show sold out? They won't show up on ticketmaster.

1:15 last I checked Ratt aren't metal. I have never seen anyone wearing one of their shirts at a Slayer show. You were trying way too hard with your post.

Posted by Anonymous | July 21, 2010 3:39 PM

The $7 tickets were $21 after fees. Still, not bad. It's not the money that is an issue, getting out to LI is. Going to pass on it due to the location.
