I saw Diamond Doves open for First Aid Kit at Mercury a few weeks back...they played a good show.

I saw the Violens opening up for Handsome Furs. They were awful. Truly awful. Is this the best Skippy can do? Oh boy....

is BV screwing this skippy cat, or something? there are a lot of great talent buyers in the city putting together great shows every night with little or no mention. is it necessary to follow the every move of this one in particular?

I am glad more venues keep opening up closer to south brooklyn. North Brooklyn is a pain in the ass to get to for me.

is this the same beige that played at glasslands a few weeks ago?

Really? "Advanced?" I believe the proper term is "advance tickets."
Also is it fair to call it Bowery associated when it's not associated with Bowery Presents booking? Just because the Rock Shop dude owns/manages/whatever two Bowery spaces doesn't mean this is affiliated with Bowery.

They are seriously banging Skippy. If anyone would like to watch the fuck-fest, I will be selling tickets. Shows are daily every AM at the Dub-Pie joint in Pk Slope. Tickets are $5, and are bound to entertain more than his bullshit shoe-gazy nonsense shows do.
