SoSB @ MHOW - CMJ 2009 (more by Vincent Cornelli)

The CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival "has announced its first round of performing artists." The full list, BrooklynVegan showcase semi-included, and more is below.

One of those performing artists is School of Seven Bells who headline the Windish showcase at Santos Party House on Saturday, October 23rd. Tickets are on sale for that (or you can try to get in with your CMJ badge). SoSB played MHOW during CMJ last year.

Meanwhile School of Seven Bells will kick off a tour with Active Child at Brooklyn Bowl in Williamsburg on September 9th. $5.00 tickets are still on sale.

All SoSB dates, the CMJ artist list, Bad Books info and more, below...

Kevin Devine and Manchester Orchestra), Four Tet, The Drums, Ghostface Killah, Greg Dulli, Helmet, Lissie, Foreign Exchange, Katzenjammer, Kristen Schall & Friends, Dean & Britta, Bayside, Senses Fail, Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit, Salem, The Blow, Small Black, Big Freedia, Dominique Young Unique, Angus & Julia Stone, Frankie and the Heartstrings, Dale Earnhardt Jr Jr, and Langhorne Slim.

The Bad Books, aka Kevin Devine & Andy Hull of Manchester Orchestra, show also will have sets from Right Away, Great Captain! Bad Books have an album coming out October 19, 2010.

The Hardly Art showcase isn't mentioned, but that's at least partly because it's unofficial.

Ghostface Killah!

He was so good on Saturday along with the rest of Wu! I don't know who was better.....Wu or Tribe! Both amazing:)

Lauryn on the other hand....kinda of let down.

Yesterday in DC, she only performed for 20 minutes! Even with Nas helping her out, I guess the crowd wasn't too happy. But she really took her time coming out on Saturday, she came out almost an hour after she was supposed to show up!

The CMJ Play portion that they just added looks awesome. Great music and video games? What more could you ask for?
