Cornershop will be touring the U.S. for the first time in eight years this fall, including a November 19 stop at Irving Plaza (tickets). The group released their fifth album, Judy Sucks a Lemon for Breakfast, on these shores back in the spring (out in the UK last summer). It's a welcome return from Tjinder Singh and crew who haven't released anything new -- apart from a couple singles -- since 2002's Handcream for a Generation. In the interim the band have apparently been working on a film about the UK independent music industry.
