Though their previously discussed new album is still no where in sight, Jonathan Richman and long-time collaborator Tommy Larkins will play two NYC dates this fall: Bowery Ballroom on November 1st and The Bell House one day later. Tickets for both dates go on sale Wednesday (9/1) at noon (Bowery tickets, Bell House).
The dates are Richman's only east coast dates. The Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival in San Francisco comprising his only other, and next, US date (he also play San Francisco three times in July, all with Olof Arnalds as opener). Richman will tour Europe for the bulk of October prior to the NYC shows.
