Kimya Dawson played a random warehouse in Brooklyn last night (8/17), aka the Pyramids. If you missed it, you're in luck because she has added a 2nd NYC show since the initial annoucement, and it goes like this:
8/18 Hallie's 18th Birthday Celebration Concert at 3LD (Three LeggedThat is, as it states, 8/18 (aka tonight). If you can't be there, you can stream it, below...
Dog)
Art and Technology Center 80 Greenwich Street New York, NY Now would be a good time for you to read about Hallie, if you haven't before. http://www.lovehallie.com This is a celebration of Hallie from 7-10 followed by sets by Kimya Dawson and Pablo Das at 10pm. The whole thing is open to the public or you can come at 10. It will be a beautiful and moving party. Event details here

Dude, can we have some more context here? We have to click on a link to go learn what the heck this is about? You've got a story about a benefit with no info whatsoever on the benefit's subject? Laz-o-rama.

12:59: SINCE YOU'RE SUCH A FOOL, I WILL TYPE THIS IN ALL CAPS.
THE ARTICLE DOES NOT SAY WHO HALLIE IS.
RE-READ MY COMMENT. AN ARTICLE THAT REQUIRES A READER TO HYPERLINK TO AN EXTERNAL SOURCE TO UNDERSTAND ITS SUBJECT = A LAZY ARTICLE.

IN THE TIME YOU SPENT WRITING THAT STUPID RESPONSE TO A GOOD RESPONSE TO YOUR STUPID INITIAL POST YOU COULD HAVE CLICKED ON THE HYPER LINK.
Posted by Anonymous | August 18, 2010 1:17 PM
BUT I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO CLICK ON A LINK, BECAUSE THE WRITER SHOULD HAVE PROVIDED CONTEXT.
AND THE TIME I SPENT WAS WELL WORTH IT, BECAUSE I WAS ABLE TO POINT OUT TO YOU THAT YOU HAVE NO READING COMPREHENSION SKILLS.

12:59 & 1:17 loves Jelly

I LIKE HUMMUS

MY READING COMPREHENSION SKILLS ARE FINE. AFTER READING YOUR POSTS, I COMPREHEND THE FACT THAT YOU ARE A LAZY SOW WHO NEEDS TO BE SPOON-FED DATA BECAUSE CLICKING ON A HYPERLINK IS TOO PHYSICALLY DEMANDING FOR YOU
Posted by Anonymous | August 18, 2010 3:00 PM
IF YOUR SKILLS ARE FINE, THEN WHY DID YOU ASK ME A QUESTION THAT COULD'VE BEEN ANSWERED BY READING MY POST CLOSELY? ALL YOU DID WAS PARROT BACK INFORMATION FROM THE ARTICLE THAT I'D ALREADY READ AND THAT DID NOT PROVIDE ANY CONTEXT ABOUT THE SUBJECT OF THE BENEFIT.
MY POINT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY WILLINGNESS TO CLICK ON A HYPERLINK; RATHER, IT HAS TO DO WITH THE WEAKNESS OF THE NEWS BLURB THAT COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THE AUTHOR HAD INCLUDED ONE SENTENCE EXPLAINING THE IDENTITY AND RELEVANCE OF THE BENEFIT'S SUBJECT.
IF YOU CARE TO DISPUTE THIS FURTHER, EVEN THOUGH YOU ARE WRONG, I AM WILLING TO ENGAGE IN THIS ARENA FOR THE NEXT 365 DAYS. I AM HAVING FUN TYPING IN ALL CAPS AND CHIPPING AWAY AT YOUR CREDIBILITY.
P.S. ARE YOU THE AUTHOR OF THE ORIGINAL NEWS ITEM?

hey all caps nerds, your dialog back and forth reads like the start of a fight scene in a kung fu flick written by star trek enthusiasts.
