Sucks for Street Sweeper Social Club that their entire set overlaps with Tribe.

For those that can't afford the $150.00 ticket check out Brand Nubian doing 'In God We Trust' for much less at the Knitting Factory on Wed, Sept 1st.

i think, yeah i think i'd peepee myself if i could go to this

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2010 4:29 PM

Well, I'd certainly see Snoop headlining as a good excuse for beating traffic.

Also, speaking of set times, WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE ATP SET TIMES???

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2010 4:33 PM

WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE ALL POINTS WEST SET TIMES???

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2010 4:35 PM

Upon closer inspection, performing Doggystyle is pretty great, even if it'll just be used to regain just enough credibility to do another 15 abominable neptunes singles, and then professionally eat watermelon on the Jimmy Kimmel Show.

WHERE THE FUCK ARE THE SET TIMES FOR THE HUMMUS MEHS??? thought they were playing this show.

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2010 4:41 PM

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2010 4:49 PM

Suck Nigga... Nigga Nigga...

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2010 4:55 PM

Main Stage: a bunch of hip hop legends performing seminal albums in their entirety. Paid Dues Stage: a bunch of shitty backpack rap. Why the hell isn't Clipse on the schedule?

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2010 4:55 PM

^seriously?

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2010 5:17 PM

if live hip hop was any good, this shit would be great. unfortunately, that's not the case.

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2010 5:32 PM

4:35 - Where have you been, All Points West was three weeks ago already. The Strokes headlined Saturday night and you missed a slammin' set by Daft Punk!

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2010 5:44 PM

why the F does it say music starts at 2PM on the ticketfly email?

Posted by Anonymous | August 26, 2010 5:51 PM

This is easily the greatest hip hop lineup of all time. I'm gonna pack my backpack up with sine dutchmasters, grape soda, and a little side container of hummus to see what all the hype is about.

this festival was amazing. fuck the fool who said live hip hop isn't good.

Some things I noticed.

RTB dropped the ball with this show, while it was great for me as I was 50 feet from the stage the stage wasn't nearly tall enough not to mention the lack of screens for anyone in the back. I went to go get drinks in the back and I could barely see the stage. They had 7 cameras filming, yet no screens for the people 400-700 yards from the stage?

Lauren Hill's sound man should be shot. At one point we where keeping track of the microphone feedback squeaks, we lost count at around 35. It totally ruined her set, add that to the nearly 1 hour and 45 min wait between krs 1 and the awfully mixed music it was bad. While I enjoyed parts, I couldn't help but notice the sound man is good with a dj and a microphone, but once he had a band it was pretty bad.

Wu Killed it.

Did anyone stay for Snoop? Right after wu it seemed at least 25% of the crowd left at once myself included, the lines where amazingly long at the ferry and one dude kept yelling "Yippue Yay Yippie yo Where did everyone go?"

Posted by Anonymous | August 29, 2010 3:46 PM

wu killed what?
