Screaming Females are kicking off a sizeable tour tonight, Friday, August 13th, at Maxwell's (with Black Wine and Byrds Of Paradise) (tickets still available). The tour also includes a Saturday, August 14th (tomorrow) show at Death by Audio (with big soda and nude beach), AND now a September 15th record release show at Knitting Factory in Brooklyn with Shellshag and Big Eyes (tickets are on sale).

i love this band. it takes alot for me to like any of these post punk/garage/revival bands but they have a great sound. siouxsie meets adverts meets birthday party? power trio for sure. cannot wait to see them

sadly, the first 2 Screamales albums are miles ahead of the third. what if someone was watching their tv is as good if not better than any pixies album. power move suffered largely from one of the worst mixes of all time. hopefully their new album is better, but the first song i heard " i dont mind" isnt that great at all
