Posies

The Posies, who like to play full albums lately, are playing their new album "Blood/Candy" in its entirety at their record release show on September 23 at The Rock Shop. Tickets are now on pre-sale (password = candy). General sale begins Monday at noon

The new album, which featurs guest vocals by Broken Social Scene's Lisa Lobsinger, will be released September 28th by Rykodisk (cover art above). The band starts a tour of Europe that same day. All dates below...

The fruit on the cover of this new Posies album would be a great accompaniment to a plate of fresh hummus with warm pita bread!

was at the record store the other day. saw lots of copies of that record in the used bin. betting more copies in the used bin than there will be people at the show.
