Atari Teenage Riot 2010, L to R: CX KiDTRONiK, Nic Endo, Alec Empire
Atari Teenage Riot

After a calling it quits at the turn of the century, "digital hardcore" wrecking crew Atari Teenage Riot are back to assault you with their noisey brand of confrontational funk. The band, which includes ATR is currently touring Europe but will land on US shores for a tour that kicks off with a NYC show at the Gramercy Theater on 9/23. Tickets are on sale.

ATR recently signed a label deal with Dim Mak records and though they don't have a new LP yet, they do have a new song. Listen to "Activiate" streaming in audio and video form, as well as all tour dates, below...

Well thankfully this reunion combined w the emergence of Sleigh Bells will render Crystal Castles moot and hopefully we will never have to hear from CC again! Thanks ATR!

ATR is like the punk rock black eyed peas.

I want to go the show, but I also don't want to be pummeled with a strobe light for two hours.

Being an old fart sucks.
