The Books are playing ATP, but won't be back in NYC for a little while. Comedian Hanibal Buress performs at Knitting Factory every Sunday night (but not this Sunday). Avi Buffalo and Dungen also have future dates coming up, and probably some others on the lineup do too, but that covers all the ones playing any time soon.

Honestly, it astounds me that Apse are so "underground", considering what great albums "Spirit", "Eras" and -to a lesser degree- "Climb Up" are.
They're much better -in my opinion- than many other groups on the indie circuit, and yet have never gotten the attention or reviews deserved, oddly.
And no, I'm not in their band.
