We'd like to thank everybody for the kind words and well wishes. Many of you are requesting that we reveal the reasons behind the breakup. Like any divorce, there's no one reason. It's the cumulative effect of many problems left unchecked/unresolved over the course of years. Many of these reasons are personal and we ask that you respect our decision to move on. We appreciate the support that's been given to us over the years, and we feel truly blessed to have done this for so long. I think the longevity of Crime in Stereo was more a testament to you than it was to us...Crime in Stereo has officially called it quits, but will play a farewell show at Europa in Brooklyn on November 6th. Tickets go on sale at midnight tonight (technically on 9/24). No word yet on the other promised shows. The last CiS shows are being booked as we speak. There will be 3 or 4 more shows, all of them in the Northeast. -[Crime In Stereo blog entry]

I thought "I Was Trying to Describe You to Someone" was an amazing album. Definitely one of my favorites released this year.

Wonderful post and the location is beautiful and elegant in design and information and everything>>> to Favorites
Amazing is an enormous understatement. One of the best electronic shows I've ever been to and I've seen well over a thousand concerts. I had no idea Vladislav Delay was as good a drummer & percussionist as he is- fabulous and he kept everything swinging with a very unique style of playing. If you missed this you missed out big time...
