"show was amazing.got to hear try it on and stella.paul was smiling and actually speaking a little to the crowd about being spaced out about the setlist.Interpol played a last-minute show at Music Hall of Williamsburg in Brooklyn on Friday night. More pictures, a video, and the setlist from the show, below...
i was so happy to go to the show i was in interpol withdrawl thinking i would have to wait for november.
the setlist was awesome.the crowd was beyond into the show.it was nice to be with fans who really are into the band and to be in NYC made it all the more special for me.
very happy this morning.daniel and sam were on point as usual.i was dead center about 5 feet from the stage and i felt like the king.thanks guys." [julianerikson]

Absolutely Phenomenal show; will be so better than the Untied Palace show. But man I gotta say, Cloudland Canyon was absolutely awful. Broken mics, barely heard keyboards, the only respectable part of them is the drummer.

wellmont theatre... play it!

Rivals Bowery as best Interpol show since 2002..Opening band was pretty terrible..
One thing to add..Long haired douche in his 50's who cut his way up to the front 5 minuets before show time needs to be taken out.

sucks that it looks like im texting or something in that pic above Kessler...I was actually taking a photo of all you beautiful fans

Cut his way to the front? GA show? Cut?
You are a fucking pussy.
Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2010 6:49 AM
If I knew the setlist was going to be that heavy on the first two albums I would have been there.
Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2010 8:25 AM
I'm in my mid 20s and I cut my way to the front as soon as I heard the first chord of Stella. Man I was fuckin wasted, what a good time.

great great show... thanks again for the tip BV!

8:25, it freaking surprised me that it went back to the roots. My two friends were like crying that barely anything from the third album showed up; but, I was like, appreciate they played almost all early stuff - they barely do this.

These are the best photos ever on BV.
This new photog rules!

I saw them about two months ago and the set list was pretty much the same being heavy on older stuff. That's just how they roll now.
Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2010 11:16 AM
so even they know their new stuff sucks...and why Carlos D left the band (he didn't want to see the faces of disappointed fans at live shows).
Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2010 11:21 AM
^^^?? the new record is great and they came across amazing live... i was happy to hear so many from the first two albums, but would have loved more from the 3rd as well
Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2010 11:26 AM
3rd interpol pic is inCREDible
Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2010 11:36 AM
That show was so not disappointing. Hell, I did not expect them to fill the gap of Carlos's departure; but, they have managed to move on and keep rocking.

meh

this show was the bomb bc they played a good amount of bright lights and antics. i also got psyched during stella and scooted up front albeit everybody pushing me, even with the abundance of space all over the floor. jerks!
Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2010 12:04 PM
great show. more like this please
Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2010 12:37 PM
I'm not the biggest Interpol fan but I really like the first two records. This show was beyond what I expected. I don't know if I've heard a better sounding show at MHOW.
Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2010 12:55 PM
I'm not the biggest fan of the new album, but I still think "Lights" was the best song of the night. Worked perfectly with the amazing sound at MHOW.

The bass player guy for cloudland...man.
and that amp!!!

Wow that's some pretty affordable merch. $10 LPs, $15 t-shirts... At the show I went to not in NYC the shirts were $25, and that was in the sticks where you'd figure they lower prices for us poor folk.

2002 Bowery was the only time i ever saw Interpol. amazing show it was
Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2010 2:11 PM
AMAZING SHOW.

Really incredible show and great photos. They sounded perfect in the music hall of Williamsburg and the lights were killer. I also thought the new bass player blew Carlos d away.

Pajo in a suit? what?
Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2010 9:30 PM
were they not even selling Our Love To Admire at the merch booth?
Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2010 9:31 PM
I was there for the old dud who cut (not cool) and the wasted mid 20's. 20s dude was at lease singing every word correctly! SUCH a GREAT SHOW!
Posted by vane | September 12, 2010 10:44 PM
there was a grumpy older guy pissed that people were crowding his space. think dude was pushing 50.
Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2010 10:46 PM
the 50 year old guy that pushed his way to the front knew all the words also.
Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2010 11:07 PM
were they not even selling Our Love To Admire at the merch booth?
probably because it was put out on capitol and matador probably had a lot to do with this show, new album and all...
Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2010 11:22 PM
How could you miss the Our Love To Admire disc? It's right up front.
Posted by Anonymous | September 12, 2010 11:50 PM
I can't believe they are not even selling Our Love to Admire. I guess they don't LOVE or even ADMIRE that CD enough TO sell it.
Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2010 9:03 AM
if you look carefully on the merch photo, the CD is right there, second from the left
Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2010 10:31 AM
What an amazing show.
Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2010 10:54 AM
looks like a sausage fest from the pics..
Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2010 11:36 AM
11:35, does your enjoyment of music hinge on if you are physically surrounded by dicks or vaginas?
Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2010 1:04 PM
incredible show, especially Kesler's guitar. the new songs sound phenomenal, so now I will have to check out that new album.
Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2010 1:23 PM
I've heard cloudland before, and they're usually awesome. sounds like they had an off night.
Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2010 6:57 PM
that 20something wasted kid was such a faggot. my girlfriend wanted to kick his ass, and sadly im sure she could have.
Posted by Anonymous | September 13, 2010 8:09 PM
who played keys with them towards the end?
Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2010 11:10 AM
The music for Cloudland Canyon sounded like it might've been good but it seemed like they were having a technical meltdown that night, especially with the lead singer's mic.
Posted by Anonymous | September 14, 2010 11:26 AM
So pissed they announced this show so late... why couldnt they just have added a date so I could have gotten over there...
