DANIEL CHO BENEFIT/TRIBUTERegina Spektor will headline the above-described Daniel Cho benefit. Daniel Cho was a cellist that tragically drowned in a lake this summer while on tour in Europe with Regina. Tickets go on sale at noon.

Tickets are now on sale for the Dresden Dolls Halloween show at Irving Plaza.
Underworld tickets go on sale at noon.

Are you fucking serious? That's your post in this topic?? Think for one second. Just one second.
The surviving family members undoubtedly spent a ton of money bringing him back to the US and for services. There's also the very real possibility that he supported people. The concert is also billed as a "tribute" for this outstanding performer, who I only had the pleasure of seeing once with Regina at Beacon Theater last summer.

while the life of a touring cellist probably commands a reasonable lower middle class income (when there is a tour on), it probably doesn't leave too much of a safety net for the wife and young child at home.

Anyone that is a cellist probably came from a rich background. Swimming in Lake Geneva is not something for poor folks. Sad for someone to pass away so young.
