Makers of quality melodic indie rock, Diehard have just released a new EP, Ultimate Heartthrob, that is a free download from their Bandcamp page. You can also listen to it via the embedded player at the bottom of this post. While still clearly indebted to the glory days of indie rock, Ultimate Heartthrob doesn't lean as obviously on the '90s as much as their previous EP, but the songs are no less tuneful.
Diehard have a few shows coming up, including one tonight (9/9) at Shea Stadium where they'll play with Olympia, WA's Christmas, Dutch Treat, Total Slacker and Widow's Peak. They'll also be playing a few East Coast dates with Shark? and all those shows are listed after the jump.
