Hole

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club played the Fashion Week party at Don Hill's on Thursday. Iggy Pop and The Stooges played there Friday, and according to the above Tweet by Eli Mizrahi, Courtney Love is playing there tonight.

Eli's Tweet also reminds us that tonight is the John Varvatos's 10th Anniversary party in the store previously known as CBGB. There will be a concert from: 9 p.m. - 2 a.m. Supposedly confirmed performers include Alejandro Escovedo, Alice Cooper, Wayne Kramer, Ian Hunter, ZZ Top, Black Country Communion, Camp Freddy, Cherie Currie, Darling Stillettos, Handsome Dick Manitoba, Jesse Malin & The St. Marks Social, and Perry Farrell . Rumored performers include Iggy Pop and (thanks John) Robert Plant (who plays Bowery Ballroom Sunday).

Who else is playing fashion week parties tonight?

A legitimate trainwreck in front of a bunch of vapid, overdressed goons. What could be finer?

I gotta say, despite the absolute narcissistic comments on BV, this site is premium.

agreed.

oh and to the guys who wanna get into don hills it uh... it doesn't seem likely. if you read any trip report about the stooges show they all talk about how chloe sevigny and michael pitt were chillin' there and whatnot. probably the most exclusive scene in town. i suppose celebs gotta have their own shows too?

will Rachel Zoe be there?

How much more boring can it get? Washed up and wayyyyyy to late is an understatement here. There were several other, dare I say, MUCH more interesting bands playing these functions than the boring, yester-years news that's being talk about here. BORING.

Camp Freddy is playing?!?!?

That Dave Navarro dick suck fest is nostalgic to no one

I saw Hole in July and it was the nadir of pop culture. I really have a hard time thinking of a worse show in my 23 years of concertgoing.

6:15 9/11, if you didn't want people to slam Hole, you should've just left your comment to the first sentence.

You gave great points here. I made a research on the subject and found nearly all peoples will agree with your blog. I don't know its value or even how old it is, but I do know that it is mine and I have fallen in love with the lamp.

Wonderful post and the location is beautiful and elegant in design and information and everything>>> to Favorites
Amazing is an enormous understatement. One of the best electronic shows I've ever been to and I've seen well over a thousand concerts. I had no idea Vladislav Delay was as good a drummer & percussionist as he is- fabulous and he kept everything swinging with a very unique style of playing. If you missed this you missed out big time...
