Governors Island is back on the map with two big shows there this weekend, both with plenty of tickets still available: the legendary John Prine (pictured above) tonight, and Panda Bear tomorrow.

Fashion's Night Out has Metric playing in a store, and many other fashion-related events happening tonight.

There's a really excellent band at Lakeside Lounge at 11, Band Of Changes, which includes Chris Harford, Joe Russo ("Duo"), Scott Metzger, Dave Dreiwitz (Ween).
