Are you all serious? You can't go 24 hours without reading BrooklynVegan to plan your Sunday evening?
You guys seriously don't have lives, do you?

"yom kippur has been over for more than 24 hours"
BV had to atone for all the hipster sins over the past year so it took extra time.
Posted by Anonymous | September 19, 2010 9:31 PM
my night is ruined. thanks.

BV, thank you for atoning for my hipster sins. I'll try to be less snarky this year.

Next time BV is out of commission, simply go to OhMyRockness or some other blog for show tips. BV doesn't corner the market on gig info.

pavement were fucking awesome tonight. NYC crowds always suck. i was dancin' my ass off, second row right in front of SM, and was shocked at all the kids (ok, mostly late 20 and early 30somethings) standing with their arms folded tight.

Crowd at the pavement show was one of the worst smelling crowds i've ever been in. Didn't know an late-summer outdoor show could feel so musty. The the worst farts I've ever been trapped in from the guy in front of me.

Pavement were amazing. They went on 8:10, done by 9:50. Endless Boogie were cool. Other opening band (jenny and something) was awful. Pavement did 25 songs and all 25 of them were among the best 100 songs ever written.

pavement was good, but nothing spectacular. crowd being dead and the venue's awful sound weren't helping things.

^^^ Superchunk tonight was sick. Great crowd, flawless show (I'll forgive Laura for fucking up the bass a bit on "My Gap Feels Weird"). Sick sick sick show.
