Mark Ronson and The Business Intl played Music Hall of Williamsburg last night (10/11), the first of two NYC shows for producer/instrumentalist and his band of special guests. Toby says...

"Ronson went on stage at 10:15 PM just as the crowd started to get a little antsy following the almighty storm outside. His band, which included Amanda Werner aka MNDR, Alex Greenwald of Phantom Planet, Spank Rock (Naeem), Pill and Rose Elinor Dougall, all took turns to share duets, lead vocals and center stage under the watchful gaze of the bleach blonde uber-prooducer himself. Featuring a mix of tracks from earlier albums and recent release Record Collection, the Brooklyn crowd shared the band's enjoyment of performing at a venue 'six blocks from where the band recorded the album last year'. A sort of homecoming, and a great show indeed."
Another NYC appearance took place at the Greene Space this afternoon (stay tuned for footage from that to be online), and the next show is at Webster Hall TONIGHT (10/12).

As discussed, Mark also made an appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman last night with Q-Tip and MNDR. The video of that with more pictures and the setlist from Music Hall, below...

I sure hope Mark is deep conditioning -- hair that blonde needs very specific care and attention.

How does the guitarist from Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars stay so young? There's got to be a Dorian Gray portrait somewhere in his closet.

The webster hall show was fantastic! It's so nice to see real talent on stage these days. & Qtip rocked webster hall~! The floor was thumping. I've never seen a audience so ecstatic. Can't wait for their return to the east coast...........................

please post the setlist. I only made the Webster Hall show. I danced so hard and had the best time. everyone at the show was having the best time!

Posted by Anonymous | October 13, 2010 3:56 PM

Which show was better, or were they the essentially the same? It was such a big production, I assume the band has to stick to a designed set?

Posted by Anonymous | October 13, 2010 4:02 PM

I was at both. The show sounded better at Webster. And Mark Ronson's performance is so astounding and revolutionary, it felt better on a bigger stage like Webster. But both shows killed. Mark Ronson is so hot too!

Genius I tell you! The man is a royal GENIUS!

Marc Ronson has the smallest penis in the music business.

Posted by Anonymous | October 14, 2010 1:22 PM

He's a Jew! Jew's have small penises! lulz

Posted by Latin Lover | October 14, 2010 1:43 PM

The show was good, not incredible or anything. There were some strong numbers but the DJ set was a bit much and MNDR got on my nerves. It didn't showcase her talent.

This show was beyond amazing... Mark Ronson is a prophet and MNDR, Alex Greenwald, Rose Elinor McDougall are wonderful disciples...
