How do you go from Hawaii on December 11th to New Jersey on the 30th/31st? Someone needs to fire their tour manager.

Posted by Anonymous | October 5, 2010 3:19 PM

^ it's called an airplane.

Posted by Anonymous | October 5, 2010 3:24 PM

3:19 --

Probably because their regular tour ends in Hawaii and then they are playing a one-off set of gigs near where they live.

This band is terrible, but you are stupid.

Posted by Anonymous | October 5, 2010 3:25 PM

and their tour manager has not one thing to do with booking dates. that's called a booking agent. the tour manager makes sure they get from show to show, do their interviews and keep people like you away from them. and the real answer to your questions is $$$$$$$$$. that's how you do it.

Posted by Anonymous | October 5, 2010 4:23 PM

that is insane. you would have to be completely off your rocker to pay $70. even insanely high for NYE. DBT @ T5 is only $35 for the early bird tix, and they are a much better act.

Posted by Anonymous | October 5, 2010 7:15 PM

Where can I get 2 bags of coke for $90? My 1 bag costs me $80.

Posted by Curious Hoover | October 5, 2010 7:25 PM

I can buy two vats of premium-blended hummus for $80.

Posted by Anonymous | October 5, 2010 7:59 PM

Agreed, 3:46. I was ecstatic after hearing their recorded stuff until I saw them at prospect park. It was the crazy high-pitched cartoony voice that originally got me hooked, but I left early upon realizing the singer's live voice sounds totally different (low).. ruined their music for me :P

Posted by Anonymous | October 6, 2010 1:51 PM

1:51 take your hummus and stay in your apartment no one wants that crap in Jersey...in Jersey we eat a hoagie not that wussy hummus crap!

Posted by Anonymous | October 6, 2010 1:59 PM

I eat hummus hoagies.

Posted by Anonymous | October 6, 2010 6:26 PM

Hummus is one of the few foods that leaves you feeling satiated without spiking your blood glucose levels. It's tasty and nutritious, but also low in calories. Hummus is vegetarian dish, actually it's also vegan. Basically made up of 60 - 70% water, chick peas, Tahini (from sesame seeds) olive oil and lemon, it's considered a grain / legume, but if you eat it with bread it's actually a complete protein. A great source of dietary fiber, Hummus also packs the good monounsaturated fats like Omega 3 and is rich in vitamins C, E, K, and B6 to name a few, but it doesn't stop there. Minerals like Maganese, Copper and Sodium are accompanied by Iron, Folate, Thiamin, Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc.

Posted by Anonymous | October 6, 2010 8:54 PM

Since when did it cost 70 ro see a band of this stature?

Posted by eplptc-tn | October 8, 2010 11:36 AM

I saw them at Governor's Island this summer when I was there for We were Promised Jetbacks. I saw three or four songs. Left early on ferry. I would have swam off the island if I had to. I cannot fathom their popularity at all.

Posted by Anonymous | October 8, 2010 11:51 AM

is it true that incessant pit farting takes place at passion pit shows?
