Laura Cantrell @ City Winery. Fine purveyor of country music.

Who is the secret guest at Union Hall?

Posted by Anonymous | October 14, 2010 5:05 PM

The secret guest is probably one of the MGMT clan

Posted by Anonymous | October 14, 2010 5:07 PM

could be Bono!

Can't make it to casiotone tonight which is sad, because now I have to settle for seeing him open for too other bands. I have nothing against either Dan Deacon or Lightning Bolt, but what a not special way to end a great few years as CFTPA.

Really? ZERO posts about the Prince press conference at the Apollo?! Wow, you guys are really on the ball...Of bullshit hipster Williamsburg-ville, that is...There is other music out there, you know, even "old farts" like Prince...INFO PLEASE!

Posted by Anonymous | October 14, 2010 8:00 PM

Seriously! Prince is touring with Janelle Monae and a few others. Dates aren't public yet.

Posted by Anonymous | October 14, 2010 8:29 PM

prince

Posted by Anonymous | October 14, 2010 8:46 PM

Prince makes so many weak albums. Even a Prince fan would agree. I like Purple Rain. The rest is rubbish.

Posted by Anonymous | October 14, 2010 8:55 PM

the rest is rubbish? true his later stuff is shit, but i guess you haven't heard dirty mind, controversy or 1999. turd.

Posted by Anonymous | October 14, 2010 9:46 PM

20ten is actually his best album in a long, long time

Posted by Anonymous | October 14, 2010 11:27 PM

Oh yeah! forgot about Dirty Mind. Classic. But the rest are rubbish.
