so is 285 kent ave glasslands? im confused. i know that glasslands is a 21+ venue and im wondering if this place is 21+ all the time too. a band i like is playing at 285 in february and im hoping it isnt 21+. so can anyone fill me in?

The Man monitors these boards? I hope they never find out about that huge venue on West 56th Street out by the Hudson River. Everybody, including all these underage people, loves it unconditionally. So many of the bands I like play there. I'd hate to see it shut down.

place got raided by a vice squad this friday. 4 people arrested and jailed for 24 hours. thank you brooklyn vegan for posting the address and pics of an unlicensed venue. and thank you for ignoring several emails pleading with you to take the photos down.

the brooklyn vegan post had nothing to do with that place getting shut down.
it was shut down because they were doing an electro house party last Friday and the electro dance party scene tattletales on each other and gets each other shut down all the time.
the little indie rock shows weren't what the place did on a regular basis.
