STATS at Public Assembly (more by Justina Villanueva)

STATS have a new EP, Crowned, via The Path Less Traveled Records. The three-track effort follows their Marooned EP, which dropped in June of last year. Stream the entire joint below.
In celebration of its release, the band will team with Chicago art-rock band Cheer Accident, jazz-punk trio Inzinzac, and Xaddax at Cake Shop TONIGHT (11/15). $10 gets you in to the 8PM show. Get there early to catch Xaddax, which features Nick Sakes formerly of the great Dazzling Killmen.
Speaking of The Path Less Traveled Records, another band on the label, Pristina, will play Precious Metal at Lit Lounge tonight. They'll be joined by Hero Destroyed, Iron Thrones, and Empyreon. $6 gets you in. Recorded, mixed, and mastered by Today Is The Day's Steve Austin and featuring appearances from Austin as well as Bloodlet's Scott Angelicos and Starkweather's Rennie Resmini, Pristina's new LP The Drought (ov Salt and Sorrow) is out now on CD via Trendkill. Look for limited vinyl on TPLT Records.
