Posted by Anonymous | November 13, 2010 3:05 PM
if you thought they were really playing mercury lounge you must be dumb. they will be out partying with snl cast, not playing a show at the tiny ML.

Thanks for letting me down, NYC. The only damn event in which I have even the slightest interest is a fucking quasi-secret show that already started.

Harry & The Potters FREE show:
Sometimes life just seems too weird and too amazing to be real. This weekend is one of those times as we’ll be playing a free show in NYC as part of the QUIDDITCH WORLD CUP!
Yes, that’s right! The Quidditch.freaking.World.Cup! This is basically the wizard equivalent of playing the Super Bowl half-time show. SO COOL!
So if you’re around NYC next Saturday night, we’ll be playing after all the matches conclude, probably sometime after 7pm. The show is free and it’s outdoors, so dress warm. Come early and enjoy some of the matches. There are over 60 teams competing! Holy cow!
Where: Dewitt Clinton Park at 52nd Street and 11th Avenue, New York City
When: Saturday, November 13th, 7pm
See ya there! Go Gryffindor!

James Chance fucking ruled- what a great performance! Five Dollar Priest were good too with Grasshopper from Mercury Rev on guitar! A fantastic show at LPR tonight.

Os Mutantes=show of the year. If you weren't there you missed what was possibly the most epic cover of While My Guitar Gently Weeps.

1:59 is a pretty egregious plant

"Os Mutantes=show of the year"
LOL, IDIOT, I was even at the show and think you are ridiculous making that statement.
Posted by Anonymous | November 14, 2010 2:57 PM
If you put the supposed awesomeness of all these other bands together, they still wouldn't even come close to half the rockitude that Senor Jimmy Chance contains. Suffice to say, LPR got rocked last night, whether they realized it or not!
