Wow, though.... People really still like this asshole, huh?

Dickheads, it was a really good show. You have nothing better to do than to post comments on articles about bands you don't like? And apparently you people don't like any bands.
FUCK OFF!
2:17 did make me laugh though.

Do you know if the Terminal 5 show in April is an "all ages" show? I was there last night and had a blast. I want to take my 15-year old to that Terminal 5 show.

7:11 is "going the distance" "going for speed?" blah blah blah. band sucks. enough with the who's who of craptacular 90's shit rock. jesus.

I would have had no idea what this band sounded like by just looking at these pictures.

Terminal 5 is not always all ages. I saw Editors there last year and it was NOT all ages.
Posted by Geno | December 8, 2010 10:48 AM
They're no Marcy Playground.

Not as good as Better Than Ezra. Wait, I confused myself.
Not as good as Deep Blue Something. There.

They sounded awesome, but their set list sucked. Way too much "here's another song off of our first album that we self-released and nobody really knows."

RXP sponsored? More like Vitamin Water sponsored. They took a 15-20 minute break after only a half-hour where we were treated to a projected looping Vitamin Water commercial across a massive screen, followed by Matt Pinfield and some chick who I didn't care to know give us a "word from our sponsor." This seriously killed the momentum of the show, and combined with the drunk morons in the back pushing the crowd for no reason apart from their own inebriated amusement ruined any type of atmosphere or enjoyment. Don't get me wrong, despite all of that Cake put on a good show and played with precision, but they need to choose better venues.

12:34: Maybe it was the first Editors show I saw at Terminal 5 or maybe it was Ben Folds, but there was definitely a show there that I could not take my son to. I am just trying to confirm that Cake is all ages. The event page on Ticketmaster doesn't have any "Event Info", at least not yet.

Called the box office. It is confirmed that it is all ages.

Contender for worst active band in the world.
Posted by Anonymous | December 8, 2010 6:53 PM
worst active band? can your superlatives be more awkward?
Posted by Anonymous | December 8, 2010 7:58 PM
Not a fan of this band nor do I have anything against them as a mainstream pop rock band, although their song rock and roll lifestyle played in every supermarket years ago does speak about a lot of the average bands posted on here in NY now days.
Posted by Anonymous | December 9, 2010 1:54 AM
I had to look up the word superlative.
Posted by Anonymous | December 9, 2010 3:00 AM
