Who cares what Kevin Drew likes?

Posted by Anonymous | December 21, 2010 12:58 PM

A couple albums on this list are alright, but there's too much of boring indie rock - indistinguishable from anything else made this year - for me to be excited about his taste.

>>Who cares what Kevin Drew likes?

So fucking true

I wish Kevin Drew would tell us his favorite movies and books of 2010 too.

Victoria looked incredible on Conan last night. Must've been the bangs.

While we are at it, what is Kevin Drew's favorite kind of cuisine, his favorite color, his favorite sexual position? I'd really like to know these things.

BSS and drew is the definition of boring indie rock. god save beach house from this bore's endorsement.

Posted by Anonymous | December 21, 2010 2:49 PM

^^ agreed. fuck kevin drew and his annoying pretentious persona.

sorry kevin, but a list of 10 p4k approved albums won't save your own boring album from indie obscurity. the last relevant music you made was over 5 years ago

at least forgiveness rock record will be a forgotten afterthought by jan 1st if it isn't already (hasn't made a single relevant top albums 2010 list that i've seen so far)

what does any of this have to do with hummus?

Posted by Anonymous | December 21, 2010 5:28 PM

What does hummus have to do with this site or any of these bands or anything in general?

Posted by Anonymous | December 21, 2010 5:31 PM

^ Hummus is a delicious, nutritious, vegan snack that is popular among members of the Brooklyn indie rock community. Shows have become less about finding new bands to listen to and more of individual "hummus panels" in which these bands voice their opinions about their favorite brands of the food and/or technique of making it. After a brief live set usually aided by repetitive loops, neon sunglasses, and colorful digital Macbook backdrops, there is usually a hummus tasting before the evening culminates.

I will be attending Broken Social Scene's Terminal 5 show/hummus tasting simply to converse with Kevin Drew about his opinion on the addition of green olives to hummus, and what textures and cuts of pita go best with it. He is also rumored to announce his much-anticipated "Favorite Hummus Brands of 2010" list.

"Hummus is a delicious, nutritious, vegan snack that is popular among members of the Brooklyn indie rock community."

True. Didn't bother to read the rest though, since this sums it up.

I second the Eleanor Friedberger comment. Eleanor is the absolute best.

Hummus is known to cause diarrhea.

Posted by Anonymous | December 21, 2010 7:41 PM

Nathan Williams poops out hummus.

Correction: "you're in" instead of "your in". I'm just coming out of a short-lived cheap wine haze, so your minor error infuriates me to an unreasonable extent. Please feel ashamed.

Lentil Hummis. Fuck, so tasteeee!

Posted by Anonymous | December 22, 2010 8:16 AM

you haven't seen his/her gravestone.

Posted by Anonymous | December 22, 2010 11:02 AM

"Please feel ashamed."

That alone removes all chances of that person feeling ashamed.
