I, for one, thought it was pretty amusing.
The (recorded) song itself is pretty great, obviously they can't perform it very tight but if anything, that sort of gives some hope to regular people without gay American Idol skillz that they too can be famous musicians.
You commenters are take it too seriously, the whole thing is partially tongue-in-cheek anyway. I mean, they're wearing women's clothing.
