Wanda Jack

Tickets are still available for Wanda Jackson's February 24th show at Bowery Ballroom, though I bet they wouldn't be if Jack White was playing the show like he will be on Friday night at Music Hall of Williamsburg, and like he did last night on Letterman. Video of the TV appearance, below...

Her dentures are getting in the way.

Jack is trying to do for old musicians what Quentin has been doing for old actors.

He also needs to look in a mirror. Bad.

I have a feeling this album will pale in comparison to the one JW did with Loretta Lynn

That was pretty damn good. She did seem a little out of it, but shit, that band kicked some ass. Hate on Jack White if you want, but the guy is a fucking performer and a half.

Wanda is the real deal...check out her early music..really really amazing. She's older now, that is for sure, but rad. She dated/f*cked Elvis in his/her early prime, and truly is the queen/mother of Rockabilly...what have you done with your life? What will you be doing at her age?

This is awesome.

"Hate on Jack White if you want"

That just sounds like real simplified thought and slang. He was a good rock star on the show and everything he does is owed a debt to the past musicians in the image and all notes of guitar.
And the amount of band members made it even more of a caricature and fantastical.

"Everything he does is owed a debt to past musicians" What a tool!!! Dude... quit being so full of yourself. Jack White is as innovative as Jimmie Page, Eric Clapton, Buddy Guy.. and any other great guitar player. If you want to go back then they all owe a debt to Robert Johnson. There.. Happy??
I am seeing Jack and Wanda Sunday night in L.A. and I CAN'T WAIT!!!!

Saw it on Letterman and loved it. Also, if you like Jack White, watch "It might get loud".
