this show was almost empty when Magic Kids played their 30min set. They sounded great, but seemed a little bummed out.

I wonder if the cults' music is as original as their name

That was the third time I've seen Generationals, and man do the horns make a huge difference. Their other sets were good, but bringing in the Mucca Pazza folks really kicked it up. Best show I've seen them do yet.

I'll cop to being one of the people who left before Magic Kids. I like what I've heard from them, but I had a five-day pass for the TNK festival, and I met up with people at Lincoln Hall for the Helio Sequence.

Great set for Generationals! Justin from Dr. Dog played drums and a guy from Floating Action played keys. Best Generationals show yet.

In Tall Buildings was awesome! Great Chicago band, can't wait till they come to NY. I think the lead guitar dude is in NOMO.

The whole show was good, but I went for the Generationals and love love loved them!!! I later realized that the keyboardist was Mike from Floating Action and the drummer was Juston Stens who was the original drummer for Dr.Dog. I caught him this summer when his band the Get Real Gang played Schuba's. Indie super group!
