Black Keys on SNL.

Posted by Anonymous | January 8, 2011 4:22 PM

One day someone will finally explain to me how selling out can be both positive and negative.

Posted by Badger | January 8, 2011 4:23 PM

Posted by Anonymous | January 8, 2011 4:34 PM

"But I wanted to go to that show! Damn"

Are you really that naive to believe this bullshit. Sold out Bowery Ballroom my buttocks. There were plenty of tickets on ticketmaster earlier, people dumping em on craigslist for nothing and as sure as the sun will rise in the morning there will be tickets sold at the door tonight.

No, just douchenozzles.

Posted by Anonymous | January 8, 2011 7:09 PM

If you want some sausage, head to that midtown hotel where that journalist got castrated. His name was Castro (no pun intended).

Did you hear that Bret Farve is gonna join the JETS?

"Congrats to Sharon Van Etten for selling out Bowery Ballroom!"

BV, what's up with writing that? You say it as if she's your little sister and you're proud OR if it's something that was never imaginably feasible like she has down syndrome or something (well, she kinda looks it in the photo you chose). Point is, your comment sounds more insulting than congratulatory.

^Lighten up ass.

Posted by Anonymous | January 9, 2011 7:43 AM

Seriously, 3:21? Sharon's been at it for years playing at venues like Cake Shop and Zebulon. Selling out Bowery is a big deal for her.

Posted by Anonymous | January 9, 2011 7:51 AM

Steve Urkel playing the accordian could sell out bowery ballroom.

Posted by Badger | January 9, 2011 8:11 AM

^your mom giving me a hummus wristie could sell out bowery ballroom

Posted by Anonymous | January 9, 2011 9:37 AM

3:21, you're a tool. Sharon is the sweetest person, and like 7:51 said, she's made the rounds playing lots of smaller venues, this is her largest headlining show yet in NYC.

Posted by Anonymous | January 9, 2011 10:13 AM

@Badger, I'd like to see that actually.

Posted by Anonymous | January 9, 2011 11:11 AM

Cutie.

Posted by Anonymous | January 9, 2011 12:14 PM

@11:11a, You mean Steve Urkel playing accordian or 9:37a doing "mom" jokes while getting a wristie to his flaccid wonder?

Posted by Badger | January 9, 2011 12:25 PM

Tears of Tofu played a bitchin' set @ The Lavatory. BV needs to put up pics

Posted by Anonymous | January 9, 2011 1:16 PM

Personally... I think Sharon Van Etten is pretty hot in that pic!

Posted by Anonymous | January 9, 2011 2:32 PM

kinda like Chrissie Hynde's cute little sister.

Posted by Anonymous | January 9, 2011 5:30 PM

She looks like a brunette version of Emma Stone.
