I feel like I should like Zooey's voice for it's unique tone. Unfortunately, I find it really annoying and she looks pretty corny in this video.

Just watch "the Happening" and you'll want to slash Zooey's throat

The Little Dragon show on Friday was really really great. I just might head out there again.

Zooey is so mod. I just can't take it.

The Decemberists are still a band? I thought they ended in 2010. Them & the New Pronographers. I think they're the same band, not sure. Both are Adult Contemporary.

Ya Decemberists! Check out Colin's ups.

Any band that exists for more than 5 years is uninteresting.

What were the set times for the last couple of Little Dragon shows?
Posted by Anonymous | January 24, 2011 11:24 AM
Adult contemporary at it's best. They are the Air Supply of the new generation.

Fucking hell. It used to be on this site you could ask for something like a set time. You would read a million snarky useless comments but someone would come on and provide the useful information.
In this case it would be what the Little Dragon set times were.
Now the snarky comments have hit such a critical mass that the people who would read them, chuckle, then drop the relevant info have flown the coop.
Very sad really. The memes and obnoxiousness is such an important part of the Brooklyn Vegan experience, but not if it is at the expense of the knowledge sharing which used to be the best part.

What else? Arthur's Landing album launch @ Nublu (62 Ave C). Original Arthur Russell collaborators go back to the material they helped create. Special guests include Nomi Ruiz (Hercules & Love Affair), Son of Sound, Larry Saltzman, James Duncan & more.

3:39-- Have you ever thought of calling the Mercury Lounge box office yourself? It usually takes all of 15 seconds.
Posted by Anonymous | January 24, 2011 4:13 PM
yeah dude, instead of taking 14 minutes to carefully word your stupid comment, you could've found out the set times for every show in the nyc area by simply calling the venues.
Posted by Anonymous | January 24, 2011 4:24 PM
Most ( but not all ) set times can be found by dialing 9-1-1.

The set times for a specific concert were just one example of a larger issue.
This commenters on this site used to have a fun delicate balance of asses, and genuinely useful information. It seems like in the last couple of months the genuinely useful information is vanishing, and the asses are winning. Quite a shame.
