Dax Riggs shows are starting to pop up around the country including his return to NYC at Mercury Lounge on May 6th. Tickets for that one go on sale on Friday at noon. In addition, you can catch the great Riggs at SXSW where he'll headline the Easy Tiger Patio on March 16th. All other currently known tour dates (more TBA) and some videos below...

Totally off topic but the last time I saw Dax Riggs, there was this amazingly annoying couple who were not only talking during the whole show but were talking about TMI info. The guy kept asking her "Do you like my seven and a half inches? Do you like my seven and a half inches? Is it the biggest you've ever had?" Yeah bro you're cool

Can anyone tell me where the Mangum Boston is and when it happens as well? My girlfriend loves NMH and said she won't leave me for this other guy who she's been hooking up with while I've been out of town if I get tickets to this.

yeah, acid bath & deadboy & the elephant men. I think his first solo album, We SIng of Only Blood or Love, was his best piece of work, lyrically, musically, vocally, etc. The new album drags a bit... lacks the momentum of the original. While it's good, it lacks the sheer, maddeningly bleak genius & stark appeal of the psychedelically lurching chaos of the first album.
