Motorhead @ the Warfield
Motorhead

If you missed it during its brief theatrical run, Lemmy, 49% Motherfucker, 51% Son Of A Bitch is out TODAY (2/15) on DVD and Blu-ray. The release paints the Motorhead/Hawkwind badass as a simple man who loves his trivia, Jack Daniels, and Marshall stacks turned to 11, but more importantly is an excellent portrait of a rock n roll icon. If you are a fan of metal, punk, Motorhead, or sleazy rock n'roll, it's worth a look. Pick up a copy today, or try your luck at winning one! Details are below.

Lemmy and Motorhead are currently on the road with Clutch & Valient Thorr. The tour hits Best Buy Theater in NYC on 2/28 (tickets), Starland Ballroom in NJ on 3/3 (tickets), and the House of Blues in Atlantic City on 3/4 for those who like to gamble (tickets).

Until those dates hit, you can gear up for the show by checking out pictures from the San Francisco stop at the Warfield on Feb 2nd, which are with the contest details and all tour dates, below...

I didn't really notice anything on the Clutch guitarist there, JT (no real good shots of him).

The DVD sounds pretty rad. Lemmy is 65, Jesus!

Lemmy has a cameo in the new Foo Fighters video.

Motorhead is nothing short of a cultural institution. Clutch is the retarded baby that happened when all the bad Melvins and ZZ Top riffs slipped down the shower drain (but dudes in workgear seem to love them. Valient "sponsored by Volcom" Thorr is the star of "Heavy Metal: The Musical".

Posted by Anonymous | February 15, 2011 7:59 PM

He used to be the editor of the school magazine!

Posted by Anonymous | February 18, 2011 10:44 AM

I missed Valient Thorr but made it in time to see Clutch and Motörhead on the 17th in Kansas City it was FUCKING KICK ASS!

Posted by Anonymous | February 19, 2011 2:49 AM
