wow...no way that diamond rings fuckface is good based on these pics alone. wil never listen ever. fuck off.

robyn is adorable though and the newest album is incredible. that setlist looks great. quality dance artist...the best youre gonna get for commercial dance pop.

Where is "Be Mine"?

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 5:22 AM

It continues to blow my mind that Diamond Rings is taken seriously by anyone with a mind and ears.

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 8:33 AM

diamond rings...shit is getting plaaaaaayed out

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 8:53 AM

not gay enough ....

Posted by eli | February 6, 2011 9:04 AM

do you think we can get a few more shots of "Diamonds Rings" balls squeezed into his American Apparel gold tights?

What a fucking tool...who falls for this crap?

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 10:04 AM

If Diamond Rings spent half as much time trying to make good music, as he did in hair and makeup last night, I still wouldn't listen to him.

Whoever dresses Robyn should be shot. Those shoes are so not flattering and WTF is up with the cut out jeans over another pair of jeans? And I still can't figure out the top, thank goodness she took it off mid-set. The whole debacle was a NO!

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 10:35 AM

Robyn rocked the stage last night. I don't think there was anyone in the place not dancing and smiling the whole time!

Posted by John Myers | February 6, 2011 10:38 AM

wow, never realized how many readers of BV are homophobic.

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 11:25 AM

Who are these close-minded people reading Brooklyn Vegan? Holy shit, I've never seen so many wankers in one place before. Get off the internet.

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 11:28 AM

changing topics- i made one fine label for that parcan! And i thought the LD did an amazing show.

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 11:35 AM

BrooklynBigot.com is my favorite website.

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 11:56 AM

I'm not homophobic! I simply shudder at the thought of buggery!

Posted by Humungous | February 6, 2011 11:56 AM

@10:35 you sound like joan rivers haha!

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 11:57 AM

did this come even close to selling out?

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 12:01 PM

the most killingest pop star on the planet!! great show, need more robyn !

Posted by brooklyn | February 6, 2011 12:06 PM

just excellent

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 12:31 PM

everybody's a star

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 12:39 PM

I'm homosexual but Diamond Rings is just way too gay.

Posted by Albert Hammond Jr | February 6, 2011 12:45 PM

Diamond Rings used to be one of Mumford's sons

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 12:48 PM

Isn't Diamond Rings Icelandic? The birth last name is Mumfordsdottir

Posted by Guns n Sigor Roses | February 6, 2011 1:17 PM

I wonder if Diamond Rings man is a hummus eater.

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 2:33 PM

It was an average show. Her stage set and lighting wasn't enough to fill the venue. It was the same stuff she used at T5 in November. A couple of pinwheels? Lame. The whole performance was robotic and predictable -- like a fembot!

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 2:47 PM

Less than 7 months ago, Diamond Rings played his first show in NYC as an opening band at Monster Island basement in front of about 30 people.

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 2:48 PM

Diamond Rings = Lady Ga Ga of indie

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 2:48 PM

Yeah, for a self-proclaimed sold out show there were a LOT of empty seats, even in the orchestra. Basically the same show as T5 and very similar to Webster Hall, was disappointed she didn't "lift the look" for Radio City.

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 3:34 PM

lmaooooo I have personally grown up with Diamond Rings my whole life... he is NOT even remotely gay. Get over yourselves and just enjoy the music.

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 3:41 PM

Went to the show, danced and danced and danced...

Posted by Tim | February 6, 2011 3:43 PM

Yes, 12:01, it was sold out. I mean, there may have been a few seats empty in the back of the 3rd mezzanine, but it was essentially sold out. As sold out as a "sold out" show gets these days.

I wonder if the Cold War Kids are going to sell out next month. I can't see that place being more than 1/2 full.

CABS ARE HERE

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 4:01 PM

The Diamond Rings shots are incredible!

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 4:30 PM

heard reports it was 99 % gay men

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 4:41 PM

sold out shows can look empty in the first few rows at radio city due to MSG/Cable vision seat holds.

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 9:34 PM

hahahhaha robyn looks like someone's old fat gross aunt in that second picture. had no idea she was that grizzled.

all this this talk about how she would be a huge pop star if there was any justice in the world...no chance...not looking like that she won't be

Posted by Anonymous | February 6, 2011 10:54 PM

gay or not, that guy is clearly an asshole. no way his music is even remotely listenable with a bullshit look like that. fuck off.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 12:12 AM

Toronto Blue Balls

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 12:39 AM

the show was sold out and amazing, although it is true that it was basically the same set from T5 no one left the venue unsatisfied, she really earned a place in the heart of new yorkers, gay or not
everyone was there having fun

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 10:51 AM

all of this is garbage. dude looks like a lady. robyn is recycled pink.

Posted by Rasmus | February 11, 2011 4:30 PM

He definitely has a unique look. I am not going to judge, but maybe a little gay. I need to hear the music, some of the best musicians have been gay...so again, no judging...I will listen to it on youtube...

Hi!
Do you happen to know if Robyn is vegan? I noticed her "Milk Kills" t-shirt the other night on the New Now Next Awards on LOGO.

Thanks!
