Terrible

Your poster isn't the latest revision. Death From Above 1979 and Tokyo Police Club are also on the bill.

terrible

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 1:55 AM

Nowhere near last year's greatness. But not terrible I guess.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 1:58 AM

similar to coachella in this way: kinda cool if you live close, def. not worth flying out for people in the rest of the country. This is, by all accounts, a more fun experience though.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 2:06 AM

Underwhelming at first due to the lack of proper headliners. But this is a solid overall lineup. Tim Minchin!

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 2:09 AM

THIS IS THE WORST LINEUP OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 2:09 AM

Yeah, nothing says "worst lineup of all time" like a fantastic live act playing the best album of the '90s.

Wait.

Posted by Brian | February 7, 2011 2:16 AM

i'd be pretty shocked if they limited their soft bulletin performance to ONLY Sasquatch though. so again, good for people in the area, but we can most likely wait till they tour it around here for te cashgrab.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 2:24 AM

Archers of Loaf?!?!?!?! Incredible news. Who cares about the rest of the lineup, Archers of Loaf are back!

The Soft Bulletin tour in the late '90s was fun. The Brain Degeneration lineup was perhaps one of the best bills ever.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 2:43 AM

How did I not hear the news that Archers of Loaf reunited last month? So freaking excited.

My dream '90s lineup would be Archers of Loaf with Creeper Lagoon (original lineup) and Possum Dixon opening.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 2:59 AM

Wolf parade final show.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 3:03 AM

you people know nothing. great f-ing line up. yes, it's worth a trip out there. this is like a good education in good music. screw the money grabbing bigger acts. most solid list I've seen (and i live in brooklyn). go see archers and learn something

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 3:10 AM

Who goes to these shitty things?

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 7:11 AM

People with moola

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 7:39 AM

The only thing this lineup is missing is Mumford & Sons.

In seriousness, though, I think it's a solid lineup. Unlike the other big three here in the US (Coachella, Lolla and Bonna,) Sasquatch seems to stay grounded with being an indie/alternative festival and not booking huge mainstream pop music like Kings of Leon, Kanye, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, etc. They're comfortable in the middle and the lineup somehow looks better than all 3 days of Coachella already.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 8:13 AM

so GBV = the new pixies. too bad.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 8:26 AM

The Pixies reunited in 2004 ..its now 7 years later and they are a still milking it , true. GBV reunited in September 2011 , this is a mere 8 months later. nice try though...

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 8:38 AM

well bob did say at Terminal 5 that New Year's Eve would be GBV's last show ever. Then they booked a bunch of other dates.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 8:41 AM

I heard GBV will also be headlining one of the night's at Pitchfork.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 8:47 AM

This really is a pretty damn great lineup.
Rival Schools appear to be playing it twice, according to the poster.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 8:49 AM

BV, you're missing one notable name: Death from Above 1979 is playing as well (They aren't shown on this poster as its not the most updated version but they are in fact confirmed.)

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 8:59 AM

Lineup is okay but not worth flying out there for. I think I'll stay local with MumfordFest 2011 at T5 featuring Mumford and Sons, Animal Collective, Sleigh Bells, Ariel Pink (solo set without Haunted Graffiti) and Best Coast.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 9:13 AM

A lot of awesome mixed with some bad. Overall, it's pretty great

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 9:22 AM

lineup looks decent enough, but my main concern is the availability of decent vegetarian options as far as food goes. perhaps if i knew for sure there would be a hummus and/or falafel tent, then i would be much more likely to attend.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 9:24 AM

Thanks for the heads up on DFA1979 and TPC. Added to the list.

Posted by brooklynvegan | February 7, 2011 9:45 AM

"The only thing this lineup is missing is Mumford & Sons"

because they played the fest last year

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 9:59 AM

MUMFORD & SONS SHOULD PLAY EVERY FESTIVAL, EVERY YEAR, THEN.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 10:01 AM

Sanford and Son > Mumford and Sons

old dirty diaper > Mumford comments

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 10:03 AM

So, no chance for SB to be performed at Summerstage? I could maybe see it happening...one never knows.

Posted by BLG | February 7, 2011 10:06 AM

Whats the National password?

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 10:11 AM

The National password = already sold out.

Posted by Venkman | February 7, 2011 10:15 AM

national already sold out in like a half a second.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 10:15 AM

Its and MTV thing??? That can't be good. Looks like its time to stop liking the National.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 10:17 AM

Nothing special as far as headliners but the acts themselves are poetry goddamn good. Also, ARCHERS!!!

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 10:20 AM

i love the soft bulletin, but i love it a lot more without wayne blabbering 10 minutes between every song. no spanks

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 10:21 AM

Please, the show probably won't even air on the actual MTV. It will probably be buried on MTVU, a web exclusive or something you stumble upon while surfing OnDemand on a boring Saturday night when there isn't a Mumford & Sons show going on.

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 10:26 AM

the mumford and sons "meme" is just completely unfunny. game over man, game over

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 10:28 AM

mehme

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 10:32 AM

Fantastic lineup! haters keep hatin'.
Sasquatch consistently has one of the best festival lineups every year, yet flies under the radar in comparison with Coachella and Bonnaroo, and it is in an amazingly beautiful location.

Posted by The Mighty KC | February 7, 2011 11:55 AM

ARCHERS OF LOAF!!!

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 12:55 PM

this lineup is really good :)

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 12:58 PM

Terrible. Am I cool like you guys? DId i do it right?

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 1:56 PM

Best Coast!!! Im there just for them!

Posted by I LOVE Best Coast | February 7, 2011 2:22 PM

ARCHERS OF FUCKING LOAF!!!!!!!

Posted by Anonymous | February 7, 2011 3:37 PM

I'd pay just to see the Trailer Park Boys again ...

This looks like fun!

Posted by Burg | February 7, 2011 3:45 PM

If you haven't been to this place, it's one of the most beautiful venues you would ever see live music at. They also don't oversell it, like Coachella, so you can actually walk from stage to stage in about 5 minutes. It also doesn't take three hours to get into and out of the parking lot, like Coachella. In short, it's awesome and well worth the trip if you like these bands. And if you don't like the bands and are still commenting, it's time to move out of mom's basement.

HOW ARE YOU MORONS NOT EXCITED ABOUT THE DECEMBERISTS OH MY GOD
WHERE IS MY CAPS LOCK BUTTON

Posted by me | February 8, 2011 10:04 PM

To the herbivore that posted the veggie question: You need not be concerned, this is the Northwest you can get your fix--vegan, gluten free, organic, uber local, free range, vegetarian, independent co-op, etc. etc.--however you like it and it'll be good. I've lived in WA since September and am still amazed by how good everything tastes, even the vegan food is good.

Posted by R | February 10, 2011 2:25 AM
