IMPACT: So which new bands are you currently listening to?BrooklynVegan & PopGun Booking are proud to present the NYC debut of Wu Lyf at Glasslands Gallery in Brooklyn on April 1st, 2011. Tickets are on sale now for what is the band's only currently scheduled North American date (don't worry, you don't need to wear a bandana to get in). Check out some videos below...The Drums: There's a band that played with us called io echo, they're really incredible, one of the best live shows I've seen for a long time. Also, there's a band called Wu Lyf. They're four kids out of Manchester and in order to go to their shows you have to wear a bandana over your face. They won't let you in otherwise. They only play in churches and are really mysterious.

AND IT MOVES US ALLLLLL

This stuff is sorta like what would happen if Arcade Fire and Virgin Prunes had a baby. The bandana thing is a little gimicky...but at least these kids are trying. And that first video with the fascist dudes beating the peaceful, resurrecting tribal folk is pretty well done.

say what you want about the hype, the songs are good and the videos are classy

Songs are actually not bad, but wearing a bandana to see them? Fucking stupid. Also, these stupid "mysterious" bands are so obnoxious.

Okay.

Um, I'm pretty sure these guys are going to change the world.
Yup, it's going to happen on April fools.

What language are they singing in?! Sounds like they're chewing on marbles and trying to sing.

Sometimes hummus is good, but sometimes it's great... You have to look over the ingredients and make sure there is no potassium sorbate added.

i eat hummus on the daily. its always gr8.
Posted by Anonymous | February 11, 2011 1:38 PM
Good to hear you eat it daily. The phyto-nutrients locked within the chickpea certainly give your immune system a boost and give lots of energy for rock and roll dancemoves such as the hip-thrust.

I had to give up hummus due to the excessive flatulence and diarrhea is caused.

So fucking stupid.

Nobody is making "jokes" here. We are simply followers of the powerful legume known as the garbanzo.
