BrooklynVegan taking over Swan Dive & Barbarella @ SXSW (and doing other shows in Austin that week too)

As tweeted at our special @bvSXSW twitter, BrooklynVegan is presenting 9 shows, 16 stages total, in Austin during the Music week of SXSW 2011 (March 16-19). That includes our official showcase at Swan Dive on Wednesday & official Dot Com Day Stage on Thursday.

3.5 of our 9 shows are metal: one of the two stages at Emo's on Wednesday (details TBA), one stage at Full Metal Texas at Emo's Thursday and Friday at Lovejoys and Saturday @ Lovejoys.

Three of our day parties are 3-stage affairs at Barbarella/Swan Dive (615 Red River, Austin, Texas).

Swan Dive (formerly Barbarella but completely remodeled) and Barbarella (formerly Spiros and Encore) are connecting venues on Red River, right at 7th St (between Emo's and Stubb's). Together the two venues have a total of three stages. We'll be presenting free shows on all three stages on Thursday and Friday and Saturday, each day from noon-6pm. Full lineup announcements (with partners and sponsors) coming very soon!
