Havent listened to much of the last few death cab albums, but i'd totally see them at Bowery.

the last few times I saw them (Plans tour/their joint-headlining tour with Franz Ferdinand) they played much bigger venues (like Hammerstein)... happy about the smaller venue, think I might actually try and go (depending on ticket price).

All your tickets are belong to us.
Posted by Zero Wing | March 22, 2011 1:48 PM
I'd rather listen to Sleep play the same chord progression for an hour and a half.
Posted by Anonymous | March 22, 2011 1:48 PM
@12:56 - That is fine that you are not a fan of the band, but you should really be dragged out to the street and shot for your awful grammar.
Posted by Anonymous | March 22, 2011 2:06 PM
FUCK EMO
Posted by Anonymous | March 22, 2011 2:28 PM
Oh BV commenters, there's really not much comedy going on here at all. Come on, try harder!
For instance, "Mehth Cab for Cutie" makes a LOT more sense.
I thought you guys had a better sense of hummus - I mean, humor.

"Is anyone reading this board older than 15?"
No.

Posted by Anonymous | March 22, 2011 3:07 PM
People still listen to these numbnuts?
Posted by Anonymous | March 22, 2011 3:28 PM
For anyone interested, we should probably just go ahead and buy tickets off StubHub since that's where Bowery Presents will be putting all of them.
Posted by Anonymous | March 22, 2011 3:42 PM
terrible music
Posted by Anonymous | March 22, 2011 3:55 PM
Tickets are about $35 and with the Ticketba$tard fees about $45.
Posted by Anonymous | March 22, 2011 4:04 PM
4:04, not that I love Ticketmaster by any means but those fees are usually put on by the promoter (Bowery Presents) and TM only gets a small cut.
Posted by Anonymous | March 22, 2011 4:27 PM
Regardless of the music, how has no one mentioned how fucking hideous that cover art is?
Posted by Anonymous | March 22, 2011 4:29 PM
@1:10
"Death Cab.
Cool...
For Cutie.
What the fuck!?"
It's a Magical Mystery Tour reference.

Noun
sausage fest (plural sausage fests)
1.(slang) A party or gathering where the vast majority of people are boys or men.
This party is a total sausage fest! Let's call Sarah and have her bring some of her girlfriends over.

I only listen to this band when in the full throes of PMS. Living in Boston, I would consider seeing them at the Paradise (great venue). But that show is a full week before my magical time of spontaneous crying and Gibbard-craving, so I don't think it will work.
TMI?

Two tickets, in your face anonymous people that probably don't care and will immediately tell me it is a terrible life choice and a waste of money to go see Death Cab.
