Good one.

presale started at 1:00 on the costello fan site and they're gone (no surprise).

looks like the live nation pre-sale begins at 2:00 today.

with an 11:00pm start, the show will go til near 2:00am and that just about rules out this long islander who has to coach the first little league game of the season the next morning.

This could be EPIC!!!
or it could totally suck.
not likely it will suck.
Likely, it will be a great show in a small venue, by Elvis' choice.

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 2:40 PM

EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC EPIC

Posted by charlie driscoll | March 25, 2011 2:41 PM

Wow, I am so excited for this.

Posted by charlie driscoll | March 25, 2011 2:41 PM

so excited that it will be EPIC

Posted by charlie driscoll | March 25, 2011 2:41 PM

OK, I am in. Cheaper than his later dates, been wanting to see Elvis for a while now, and well, I have a love/hate relationship with him, but it is a late show and great venue, so cool.

My march and april have been pretty good.

Posted by BLG | March 25, 2011 2:42 PM

and since it's Live Nation, it could get moved to T5 and become totally awesome

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 2:47 PM

Totally @2:47, then we can all riot.

Also, someone tell Eddy that Elvis is playing smaller and cheaper than he and the Irish brogue.

Posted by BLG | March 25, 2011 2:52 PM

^ yeah right?!? respect!

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 2:53 PM

If it's Live Nation, how could it get moved to T5? They don't promote shows there. It'd get moved to Roseland.

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 3:13 PM

why would this get moved at all?

The whole point of this is to play a small show.

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 3:24 PM

so is this s spinning songbook show?

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 3:25 PM

In all likelihood this is the warm up show for the spinning songbook tour. so they may be working out some stuff on the more obscure numbers (I hope).

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 3:39 PM

it's certainly the first show of the tour, so we'll see....

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 3:42 PM

it's getting moved? I could see it getting moved to Radio City Music Hall. When it gets moved there, I'll be the fat old guy in the isle dancing with the bandanna around my head. Oh, no, that was the jerkoff that totally ruined the ABB show I went to last week.

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 3:42 PM

is this all general admission seating?

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 4:00 PM

His aim is true, so open your mouth.

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 4:03 PM

yeah - i hope there's no slam dancing - I heard kids died at the who concert in cleveland.

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 4:04 PM

I don't think so.

I have "reserved" loge seating, then I think the floor is GA.

I assume all seating is good seating? Otherwise I am hoping to trade tickets with an old fart who doesn't want to stand for two hours.

Any takers?

Posted by BLG | March 25, 2011 4:06 PM

I heard that all the seats are great except for yours BLG. I have it on good authority that yours suck, totally. Now everyone knows, so good luck with the ticket swap.

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 4:15 PM

I'm gonna slam dance to Almost Blue. I'll tighten my headband for an extra rush during Stevie's piano solo.

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 4:17 PM

@4:15 what if I throw in a single LCD Roseland ticket as well?

Posted by BLG | March 25, 2011 4:18 PM

so psyched for this show

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 4:59 PM

I wonder if Elvis Costello removes his eyeglasses when he sits down in front of a golden hummus platter?

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 5:07 PM

golden hummus .................... now yer talkin!

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 5:11 PM

Posted by Anonymous | March 25, 2011 7:16 PM

Posted by Anonymous | March 28, 2011 9:57 PM
