Menomena recently released a video for the song "TAOS" off their most recent album Mines. Check it out below.
Menomena is playing our Free Thursday Austin Day Party at Swan Dive from noon-6 PM TODAY (3/17) - the same 3-stage party Beans just got added to. They also play the Barsuk Showcase later tonight Red Eyed Fly with Say Hi, Maps & Atlases, and The Wooden Birds who we just pointed out have a new album on the way.
Menomena will also play a few more Austin shows this week, and then hit the road again in April around Coachella with The New Pornographers. All dates and the video below...

Menomena and New Pornographers on tour together? While both are great thats a strange pairing. Totally different sounds. Should make for a bunch of indifferent New Pornographer fans and a lot of bored Menomena fans.

Wasn't much of a surprise Brent left. I read an article in a portland newspaper about how those three dudes all hate each other and can't be in the same room together when they make an album. I think it's great we got the records out of them that we did.

i could never understand the infatuation with bands like deerhunter, waavveess, girl talk, et al when an indie rock band that can actually PLAY their instruments goes by so unnoticed....
