Minus The Bear at Webster Hall (more by Matthew Eisman)
Minus The Bear

Do you find yourself asking the question: "What has Minus the Bear been up to this year?" If so, here are your answers.

1. Writing new jams at the practice space.
2. Finalizing the "Hold Me Down" video...
3. Planning a springtime USA mini-tour and other shows.
4. Losing hearing from playing new riffs too loudly in basement.
5. Realizing in September it'll be 10 years since "Gigantic" was released. (Vinyl maybe?)
6. Getting hungry for tacos.

Minus The Bear posted that message in February and have since released the "Hold Me Down" video which you can watch below.

Dates for that mini-tour are also trickling out and include May 6th at Music Hall of Williamsburg. $25 tickets for the Brooklyn show go on AmEx presale Wednesday, 3/23 at noon, and regular sale at the same time on Friday. All currently known dates are listed below...

Yeah these guys were cool back in 2001, but they haven't made anything worth listening to in a LONG time. They used to be just a bunch of shy, awkward dudes playing a unique brand of indie rock. Now they look like they're trying to be My Morning Jacker or some shit.

They should come play at one of the Rosen Hotels.

"never even heard of this band."

You ain't missing much. I tried these guys a while back and they did nothing for me.

Unfortunately 11:37, that's what probably turned me off to these guys in the first place. Sorry fellows.

Noun
sausage fest (plural sausage fests)
1.(slang) A party or gathering where the vast majority of people are boys or men.
This party is a total sausage fest! Let's call Sarah and have her bring some of her girlfriends over.
