Doro Pesch & Lemmy in Times Square
Motorhead

"When you're at a Motorhead show there is only one thing to do, get yourself lost in the music and follow the rhythm of the crowd. The vibrations of the amplifiers, the feedback, the music, and your aggression guide your body. All body functions like hunger, sweat, fatigue, your bladder, don't exist at a Motorhead show. It's only when the music ends you realize you have to drain, which is how a good old fashioned rock show is supposed to be.

Other highlights of the night was the New York return of Mikkey Dee, who absent the last time they came around due to a comittment to the Swedish version of "I'm a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here," Lemmy's shout out to 1983 (the year I was born), and last but certainly not least, Doro Pesch (of Warlock fame) joining the band for "Killed by Death."" [Examiner]

The Motorhead, Clutch & Valient Thorr tour continues at House of Blues in Atlantic City tonight (3/4). It hit Best Buy Theater in Times Square on 2/28, and a set of pictures from that show, Motorhead's setlist included, continues below...

Motorhead forever rules, but they gotta change that setlist. Looks almost the same as the last few tours!

Hm, Motorhead coffee mug would be the perfect gift for any occasion. Doro has aged very well.

Selling signed drumsticks and picks- real classy. Then again it is Motorhead we're dealing with here.

I think that may be the first time I've seen a tip jar at a merch table.

Posted by streetdude | March 4, 2011 1:12 PM

I can't imagine what a blowjob from a woman like that must feel like. And that body.

IT WILL ALWAYS HURT ME TO HAVE TO CALL IT THE BEST BUY THEATER - DAVID SANDERSON

"Motorhead forever rules, but they gotta change that setlist. Looks almost the same as the last few tours!"

I went to both NYC/NJ shows and they played the exact same setlist.

"Oh thank you merch table guy for this reasonably priced $25 WWE sanctioned Valient Thorr t-shirt. Here's an extra dollar for yourself. Go get something to eat."

I wonder what a biopsy of that boil on his face would look like under a microscope.

"there is an event called Sunset Sessions Rock! in June in San Diego. It gives indie alternative bands a chance to play in front of big radio stations from across the county, music supervisors from film, tv + ads, video game programmers, managers and record labels. It costs some dough to play (like 2-8k), and you have to actually be good enough to get picked, but it's a once in a lifetime chance to get in front of all these music industry people that can completely launch a bands career. February's SS had 45 bands play to 800 music biz people. Check out info at www.sunsetsessions.org to see how to get your band in."

^Pay money to sell out?

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2011 3:33 PM

Lemmy kills your pussy-ass spam!

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2011 3:50 PM

Douchebag McAllister here, does your band have what it takes to make it to the big time? I'm offering a cliched once in a lifetime chance for you and your rock steady band to impress not only myself but some radio, television and record industry hot shots. This is your opportunity to be played between 'Jane Says' & 'Blow Up the Outside World' on 'RXP while blowing Matt Pinfield. It only costs $8000 to audition. What are you waiting for?

Leave and get your ass to a halfway decent show instead?

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2011 5:16 PM

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2011 5:24 PM

I like these bands for their punctuality

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2011 5:36 PM

Like which one, 5:16?

Posted by Anonymous | March 4, 2011 5:41 PM

Nice shots as always by lenseman Greg Cristman. I could smell the sweat n' leather.

Posted by Jon Soto | March 4, 2011 5:52 PM

One time at Emo's in Austin, I saw a dude doing calisthenics in the beer garden to get ready for a Valient Thorr pit. I have laughed about that band ever since.

"I can't imagine what a blowjob from a woman like that must feel like. And that body"

thinks she gags on cock until she cries? so hot when the thick spit drools down onto her big tits.

Posted by Anonymous | March 5, 2011 2:18 AM

I didn't know Valient Thor was a band made up exclusively of gay bears. Interesting.

I met Lemmy once a few years back at the Rainbow in LA and he used the word "kike" 3 times in about 2 minutes. He is a drunken racist piece of shit and It was super disappointing.

Posted by Anonymous | March 5, 2011 11:37 AM

Nice shots, Greg. We couldn't shoot from the house so no shots of Mikkey w/ his outrageously high drum riser.

Posted by tim | March 5, 2011 11:49 AM

Hey Motorhead, Nas called, he wants his drum riser skirt back..

Posted by Anonymous | March 5, 2011 12:08 PM

Lemmy is no racist. When he played my home town, a skinhead friend of mine met him briefly skin greeted him w/ white power Lemmy replies FUCK WHITE POWER!!

Posted by anonymous | March 6, 2011 1:10 PM

^You need better friends pal.
