Tickets are still available for TONIGHT's OMD show at Terminal 5 (3/8). If you go, make sure and get there early to catch Oh Land who is supporting the band on their first jaunt to the U.S. in a quarter century.
She makes it all the way to SXSW with them where, among other things, she'll be playing the BrooklynVegan/M For Montreal day party in Austin at Barbarella/Swan Dive on March 19th. Details on that show are forthcoming.
Tonight's show is Oh Land's second NYC date in a week. She played Popshop at Tammany Hall on 3/3 with Iconapop and Friends. More pictures and the setlist from that show are below...

I saw Oh Land at CMJ last year. I can't believe this talentless girl is getting so much buzz. She fake plays the electric drums and just dances around. She's like a shitty Lykke Li

Not a single photo in this post that didn't feature someone I want to punch in the fucking face. These people are the personification of obnoxious. It's a scientific fact.

@ 4:22 huge ditto. And her CMJ performance was at the same venue—Tammany Hall used to be Backstage Bar.
In any case, this no-talent was/is dreadfully dull.
I wish I could recall the rap group (from Baltimore? Or DC?) that played a bit later that night. They were good. And I don't like rap.

Just saw Oh Land open for OMD last night...or should I say suffered through them. Seriously...whose dick is this no talent sucking?

I just don't understand why she is playing and getting press in relatively "indie" settings. This is pop music, and she is clearly trying to be a pop singer. The music is fine for what it is, and she'd make a fine pop star, but it really doesn't belong here, I don't think.

The fat guy with the Hawaiian hat in Friends is amazing. Jacuzzi Boys should recruit that dude.

9:43, you were so close to a revelation

homegirl sings like a pop star, yet wants to be like the knife or bat for lashes. either way, not into it.

The hateful comments on BV shows just how pathetic some of the readers here are. I saw her last night when she opened for OMD. It was not the best thing I've heard in my life, but I wasn't expecting it to be either. She was a perfectly fine opener for OMD. Considering her first proper NYC performance was only a few months ago, I can see her getting better in the future.

@10:58, well she can't get too much worse. And btw, we are entitled to our opinions.

WOULD SMASH

Well, Icona Pop ruled that night. No doubt they are the future.

Oh Land is so talented! Can't wait to see her on Wednesday night at The Charles Bank Gallery. If you're in NYC, check her out this week- she has a residency there until the 1st!
